1st visit to Registrar of Marriage

i have never been there... not even for my frenz wedding as its more common to have an outdoor solemnisation rather than do it in the office type...

according to the e-file instruction, we have to reach there between 9.30am to 10.30am... nevertheless, we reached there ard 9.15am... din expect to have such long queues and seeing soo many pple at there... everything was very easy n straight forward, we just waited for our queue number to be called... meanwhile, there is this tv showing the video tape of marriage life etc... quite meaningful but i do wonder, how many couples will really take their time to watch and remember it? there is a particular statement which i find it very meaningful and interesting... took a while for me to ponder over it... a marriage is not about wedding, but a wedding for life... true! i really appreciate the video tape... to many people, perhaps marriage to us is a wedding... just a wedding... how many tink further tat its a wedding for life?

saw all sorts of pple at the registrar... even foreigners... everyone looked happie... and i tot i looked very excited as well... haha... hubbie keep cracking jokes to me and i tink many pple tink we r siao... :p

oh ya... i din know we have to make a statutory declaration to the rom officer! its not very long but takes a while for us to read out the declaration... the officer memorised every words from head to toes! cos hubbie said person instead of people and the officer immediately ask him to repeat tat! i tink it sounds funny when hubbie was making his declaration... can hear tat he was quite nervous abt it... i kept giggling... when its my turn, i talked soo fast... :p b4 i realised, i finished reading it... and we proceed to sign the form and collect the cert back home...

to be married to the one you love, tat is a blessing and happiness...

Cheers,
